The venue was built by Live Nation Entertainment and owned by their subsidiary, Live Nation Venue Management. In 2017, after Live Nation’s $84 million purchase of DMA, the venue was renamed The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory.
The Toyota Music Factory Pavilion is two miles from downtown Dallas in Irving, Texas. Highlighting the venue’s design was a circular seating bowl with a curved roof that wraps around the edge of the building. An elegant, elliptical-shaped steel structure supports the roof. The pavilion also took inspiration from the architecture of the nearby Toyota Plant, which helped to create a sense of authenticity and timelessness with its warm, weathered concrete exterior.
